Ride in the Country

Some days it’s just so nice to take a ride in the country. Jon and I took a nice long drive in the country this past week and I got some amazing shots in Augusta and Rockingham counties. I told him when we started our drive I wanted some cows and horse photographs and he did not disappoint. I also took some beautiful barn photographs. I like the look of barns that have been standing a long time, that appear they are about to fall, but also Red barns. The red barns are my absolute favorite, I must take after my mom with that, but also remember when we lived on the farm in WV we had a red barn on it. That brings back a lot of memories and my country roots. 

As for the cow photographs there are different types of cows that I did photograph this time around and I plan on getting in contact with a couple places locally to see if it’s possible to visit their farm to take photos, so we will see how that transpires so stay tuned! Enjoy the photographs!
